THE CANBERRA PEACE BELL

In partnership with the World Peace Bell Association, the Rotary Club of Canberra Burley Griffin undertook an ambitious project of building a peace bell pavilion within the Canberra Nara Peace Park precinct on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. The Canberra Rotary Peace Bell is the result.

Officially launched on 23 February 2018 the bell provides a destination in Nara Park to remind us that we want a peaceful World.

The bell’s pavilion was designed by Lauren and Fred Kasparek.

We still need to support to operate the many Rotary charity projects including the Rotary Foundation, Rotary Fellowships, Shelter Box Australia and support for Domestic Violence Issues. Rotary has ‘peace in the World’ as one of its core values.
