MARCH 2017

3 + 10 =

In partnership with the World Peace Bell Association, the Rotary Club of Canberra Burley Griffin has taken on an ambitious project of building a World Peace Bell Pavilion, within the Canberra Nara Peace Park on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. World Peace Bells are located all around the world, the first one being a gift from Japan to the United Nations as a sign of peace after World War II. The Canberra World Peace Bell will provide a destination within Canberra Nara Peace Park to remind us that we want a peaceful world and to reflect on the good rather than the bad that we see almost too often these days.
Participating LJ Hooker offices are supporting a fundraising bike ride to get this project finished.
Register to ride from your local LJ Hooker office to the Nara Peace Park on Lake Burley Griffin.

Where and When?

LJ Hooker rides will start from 9:00am and 9:30am from 8 local office locations depending on the distance to Nara Peace Park.
