The nineteenth of our Peace Poles

Pole 19 of 100 Peace Poles to be planted around Australia was planted on 10 March 2020.

This octagonal Peace Pole 19 of 100 was erected to honour the 2019 cohort of Rotary Peace Scholars and features the eight languages spoken by those scholars. The pole has been erected in the Rotary International Presidents Peace Park in St Lucia and will stand as a silent messenger of Peace for all who pass by.

The Peace Pole was donated as a joint effort by the Rotary Club of Brisbane Centenary, the Rotary Club of Canberra Sunrise, and the Rotary Club of Canberra Burley Griffin.
